Hey! I'm Jeni McClure, the artist behind Superswoon! I'm an American rugmaker & sewist, currently living in Kanagawa, Japan.I have always been a creative gal drawn to all kinds of artistic outlets and in 2019, I tried my hand in punch needle which opened the door to rugmaking. With an unfathomable love for handmade art, this then became my full-time small art biz.Alongside rugmaking, I also enjoy hand embroidery + making banners using my tiny collection of 1970's sewing machines.Though my art style is heavily influenced by American & Japanese tattooing, I also create eclectic works here and there, and still continue to dabble in other art forms like leatherwork, lino print, & beading.Thank you for being here!
